An Evening with Worksop Town's Liam Hughes

In a special In Sam's name meeting Worksop Town leading goal scorer Liam Hughes shared his mental Health journey. The event was held at Worksop Town's Tigers Den venue and was attended very well.

Liam told of his struggles and his mental health journey which led to others within the group sharing their own issues. Talking out this led to others within the meeting giving helpful tips and advice from others. This has always been a mantra of the group that strength will be found from one another.

It is often a perception that a Footballer has the best job and life possible but with Liam's story it shows that sports stars are only human like us all. With the striker currently scoring over 30+ goals and affectionately known as "Hughsey" by the Tigers faithful his story inspired the group and empowered the whole room.
