In Sam's Name 3 years on

On 9th December 2021 In Sam's Name held its first meeting with 9 attendees.   3 years on, the group has grown into a registered charity and holds peer support groups within north and mid Nottinghamshire in 5 locations. A ladies support group was added along with a monthly walk, boxing sessions and Instrumental Health which is a music club learning people to play guitar for music therapy. And along the way we've been recognised by picking up awards for the services that In Sam's Name deliveries to the local communities.

More is planned for 2025 with the introduction of a podcast platform, angling club and paddle tennis sessions.
