In Sam's Name X Fusion Energy Café Weekly Daytime Meetings

Every Tuesday In Sam’s Name will be at the Fusion Energy Café, Bridge Place, Worksop every week between 10am - 12pm offering a chance for people to come and chat with our Team. This is aimed at those who cannot attend our evening peer support meetings and to reduce isolation by having a friendly face to have a cuppa with.

What is the Fusion Energy Café?

The world’s first, ‘Fusion Energy Café’ is now open to members of the public and the business community. 

The modern and inspirational Café is housed in the Bridge Skills Hub in Worksop, Notts.  It is a unique collaboration between The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) and Bassetlaw District Council and aims to develop the facilities, infrastructure, and skills to support a thriving fusion sector in the UK.

The café’s interior resembles the inside of a tokamak – a machine used in the creation of fusion plasmas – and its menu is inspired by the promise that fusion can be an environmentally responsible part of the world’s future energy supply.
