LOCAL BANDS/SOLO ARTISTS WE WANT YOU

We are really pleased to announce that In Sam's name will be in partnership with the Dukeries Brewery Tap & Gunsmoke Barbeque to produce the Battle of the Bands on the 22nd November and the 6th December

This is a really exciting opportunity for anyone wanting to prove themselves, gain a bigger fanbase or to spread their name across the local area

We’re looking for any bands/solo artists in the local area to submit one of their original songs to spongefest.isn@gmail.com for a chance to be entered into the Battle of the Bands. Please submit in the email which date you will be available for or write both if you are available on either date. If you are selected to perform you will be given a 30 minute slot with a maximum allowance of 2 cover songs to engage the crowd. Each night will see 4 bands battling it out for a place on the main stage of Spongefest next year on the 14th June 2025

On the 22nd November we are pleased to announce that The Beautiful Martins will headline the Battle of the Bands who will cover songs from the iconic bands the Housemartins and The Beautiful South who were fronted by Paul Heaton

On the 6th December we are thrilled to announce that Standing on the Shoulder of Oasis will headline playing all our favourite songs of the forever popular Oasis

This is an 18+ event
