Spongefest Music Festival 2024

What is Spongefest ?

In Sam’s Name and Worksop Rugby Club have come together to promote this outdoor music festival which is being hosted at the Worksop Rugby Club on the 25th May 2024. With all funds raised going to In Sam’s Name Mental Health Talking and Peer Support Group for males and females (Charity number - 1204722). 

Following on from the success of the previous three events which have been held at Network in Sheffield in memory of our beloved mate Sam 'Sponge' Fisher, we have decided to bring Spongefest to his home Worksop. 

On the day attendees can expect a number of exciting artists/bands from the local area bringing the summer vibes to the rugby field throughout the afternoon and into the night where our headliner Toploader will perform.

Spongefest aims to make this a great day for everyone to enjoy with people of all ages twelcomed to attend. This will be a family friendly day in which the hope is to create lifelong memories of the festival and to create awareness of mental health. 

There will also be a number stalls, children's activities, street food and bars to cater to everyones needs. There will also be In Sam’s Name and Spongefest merchandise including the iconic bucket hats.

So bring your dancing shoes have a proper knees up day raising money for such an important cause and make it one I'm sure the party animal himself would be proud of as we keep his name living on.
