In Sam's Name co-founders, Richard McHugh and Stewart Fisher, were proud to be Baton bearers in Sheffield on Wednesday 29th July 2023 with the Baton of Hope touring the U.K.

There walk of Hope carrying the Baton was from Ponds Forge to the iconic The Leadmill.  The legendary music venue is were Sam spent alot of time and especially in his student days listening to live music which was a great passion of his.

Prior to carrying the Baton Richard McHugh and Clayton Tindle walked the 20 miles from Worksop to Sheffield as a fundraiser for In Sam's name and were greeted by a good number of In Sam's Name supporters on completion.
